Sing Sing Theater celebrates 10 years with A Decade of Decadence
The venue kicks off its anniversary season on October 10 and announcing a stacked October–November line-up
Bangkok’s Sing Sing Theater marks its tenth anniversary on October 10, 2025, with ‘A Decade of Decadence’.
Since opening in 2015, the 380-capacity venue has become known for its distinctive neo-Chinoiserie decor, themed performances, and music-driven programming that attracts both international and local audiences.
For Co-Founder and Music Director Kevin Lecompere, Sing Sing’s ethos hasn’t changed, even as the city around it has: “From day one it has always been about doing what we love, pushing boundaries, and creating experiences that stand out.”
He adds: “Over the years, I feel the scene has shifted from passion projects to business ventures, chasing trends instead of shaping them. Sing Sing remains the only venue booking international underground artists on a weekly basis.”
For ten years, Sing Sing Theater has hosted an eclectic range of events; from King Kong Halloween in 2015 and Face The Gong with its quirky cabaret acts, to COUNTERPOINT in 2020, a collaboration with Pro Musica and WTF Gallery that fused classical music and club culture.
Most recently, the 2024 TV series White Lotus brought global attention to the venue when scenes were filmed on location.

International artists such as Gilles Peterson, Âme, Henrik Schwarz, DJ Tennis, Red Axes, Viken Arman, Dixon, and Joseph Capriati have also played at the venue.
“Too many legendary sets to count,” mention the Sing Sing team.
Mixmag Asia has collaborated with the venue as well, bringing in Korean cosmic disco purveyor Shubostar and Berlin-based British producer and Rekids head honcho Radio Slave both in 2023.

Kevin points to Dixon’s midweek appearance as one of those unforgettable nights: “The club was sold out on a Wednesday night, with the kind of energy you’d normally only see on weekends. The crowd was incredible, a perfect mix of connoisseurs and party lovers.”
As the anniversary season continues, the venue welcomes Echonomist on October 8, Meera on October 15, and Fahlberg on October 24, followed by Rodriguez Jr, Sebastien Leger, and Enamour in November.
