Gabriele Poso heads to Hong Kong for two live music sessions
The Italian percussionist joins Culture Hub Asia & y2k’s new live series Hours on May 30, followed by a poolside gig at the Grand Hyatt

Culture Hub Asia and y2k are kicking off their new live music series Hours by inviting percussion virtuoso Gabriele Poso.
Known for his powerful, rhythm-heavy performances and global sound, Gabriele takes the stage at Salon 10 on May 30 for Hours Presents: Gabriele Poso.
A true master of rhythm, the Italian multi-instrumentalist bridges Afro-Cuban percussion, jazz, soul, and deep house with spiritual depth and technical precision, which resounded from Wonderfruit's Solar Village last year to an elated crowd of dancers.
Trained in Puerto Rico and Cuba, he’s released on labels like Yoruba, BBE, Soundway, and Wonderwheel.
His upcoming compilation ‘Ritmo Italiano’ drops next month via Mr Bongo, but you can listen to the title track which has already been released here.

Salon 10 has become a key hub for eclectic music in the city, hosting numerous artists such as Romain FX and Midnight Runners, breakbeat jungle pioneer Goldie, Hong Kong’s own “vinyl junkie” Roy Malig, and is also home to live nights featuring jazz, swing, chamber music, and more.
