Krunk Kulture delivers 21 club-centric tunes on their 4th 'Flavours of the East' compilation, 'Jaljeera'

The ‘Flavours of the East’ series has become one of our favourite releases to anticipate from Mumbai’s Krunk Kulture label, every single time. Their latest and fourth instalment entitled 'Jaljeera' might just be their best one yet, featuring 21 tracks from mostly South Asian producers from India and Sri Lanka, as well as guest artists from Japan and the United States.

Staying in line with their local street-side refreshment theme, 'Jaljeera' is an Indian-style lemonade made with cumin, ginger, mint and other spices. 'Jaljeera' follows the recent Baalti EP featuring a sample from Indian disco queen Rupa, as well as Krunk’s third compilation Thandai, named after a milk and spice based drink served during Holi.

The 21-track compilation crosses realms of house, techno, breaks and electro by both seasoned and fresh producers including BLITCH, Arjun Vagale, Monophonik, Chhabb, Sintaro Fujita, Red Bull Music Academy graduate Oceantied and label boss Sohail Arora aka Rafiki.

From house-heads to garage-addicts, Jaljeera is packed with club-centric flavours just in time for the eventual reopening of Asia’s dance floors.

‘Jaljeera - Flavours of the East’ is digitally available via Krunk Kulture. Grab your copy here.
