Joyland Festival Bali presents a diverse line-up of creative fields & musical genres
The festival’s Lily Pad Stage promises an "immersive club experience" curated by local collectives
Joyland Festival, previously held in Jakarta in November 2022, is making its way back to Bali for a second time this upcoming weekend.
The three-day festival set to take place on 17-19 March, 2023 has previously announced its line-up, including an exclusive performance by M.I.A. alongside Phoenix and Sigrid as headliners.
Taking over Peninsula Island, Nusa Dua, Joyland prides itself in being a “multisensory festival” that collaborates with artists in various creative fields; from music to films and even stand-up comedy. There will also be workshops, family-oriented activities and a local community market to indulge in during the event.
“We want as many people as possible to enjoy Joyland Festival Bali,” states Ferry Dermawan, Co-Founder and Program Director of Plainsong Live — the festival’s organiser.”

Many local talents from across the archipelago will also enliven the event, attracting many to travel to the Island of the Gods.
Mixmag Asia will also be part of the festivities, supporting Joyland’s Lily Pad Stage which focuses on the more experimental electronic and dance music talents from various backgrounds and regions.
Bali-based collective, ORBITWARE, along with The Secret Agents duo from Jakarta will be in charge of the performances taking place at Lily Pad Stage.

“In Joyland Festival Bali this time we are offering an immersive club experience presentation in an open-air festival. We are bringing many artists, DJs, and producers from the Asian and Balinese diaspora, such as the UK’s Flora Yin Wong and Melati ESP from the US,” state ORBITWARE.
The stage will also feature Bali’s own talents, Naken and Gozal along with ORBITWARE members Mairakilla, Raissa and Plaur.
