Shaun Moses channels darker energy with ‘Groove Therapy’ EP
A sharp, no-frills release that blends hypnotic grooves & acid textures plus a remix by Luigi Madonna
Shaun Moses has just dropped ‘Groove Therapy’, a tightly-produced EP out now on Gem Records—his first since joining the label’s agency roster alongside the likes of Julian Jeweil and Bart Skils.
For this new release, the Goa-based producer delivers two stripped-back, floor-ready tracks with a remix from Luigi Madonna to complete the package.
The title track sets the tone with galloping momentum and an unrelenting bassline, pulling you deep into a cavern of hypnotic rhythms. True to his Goa roots but honed on European floors, he layers minimalistic melodies with shadowy atmospheres and sharp percussion, crafting a track tailor-made for late-night dancefloor hypnosis.

On the B-side, ‘Genesis’ takes things into heavier territory. Built around a tougher kick and swirling acid lines, the track adds a bit more pressure and movement, with sharp percussive flicks that give it a restless energy.

Rounding off the EP is a cosmic rework from Luigi Madonna, who reshapes ‘Groove Therapy’ into an even spacier trip, elevating its trance-inducing core with his trademark Italian finesse.
With this release, Shaun Moses doubles down on what works when it comes to techno: tight arrangements, solid low-end, and delivers just what the dancefloor needs.
