Wu-Tang Clan release their first single in six years

Wu-Tang Clan are back with a new single, six years after their last release.

Out now, ‘Claudine’ includes verses from Wu-Tang members Method Man and Ghostface Killah, as well as a feature from Dutch singer and Roc Nation signee Nicole Bus.

Produced by Wu-Tang's long-time collaborator DJ Mathematics, the track is based on the 1974 Harlem-based film Claudine, covering similar themes to the film such as heartbreak and love.

In a statement, Mathematics said: "'Claudine' was made as a dedication to my mother as well as an ode to all mothers, wives and young women, reflecting their struggle, strength, courage and love."

The last release from Wu-Tang Clan was their 2017 album ‘The Saga Continues’, which featured Raekwon, Method Mad, RZA, Ghostface Killah, Redman and more.

Wu-Tang have been out on a worldwide tour this year with hip hop legend Nas, travelling to the likes of London, Melbourne, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, Dublin, Glasgow and other major cities.
