Underground Essentials #26

My latest five picks for Underground Essentials include new releases from Smeed & Suspence, Adriatique, Hraach, Speaking In Tongues, Lars Von Licht as well as remix work by Vivid and Dodi Palese. Enjoy and thanks for listening!

1 Smeed & Suspence

'Chasing (V i v i d Remix)'

Label: Cenote Records
Date: 10/10/16

Boston’s Cenote Records is back with the latest release from duo Smeed & Suspence entitled ‘Chasing’ which includes a brilliant remix by one of my favorite up & coming producers - Vivid from Pakistan - who adds his eastern exotic groove to this forward thinking release from Cenote.

2 Adriatique

'Patterns of Eternity (Original)'

Label: Siamese
Date: 10/14/2016

This is the long awaited three-track EP from Adriatique and the first release from their brand new label Siamese. The title track ‘Patterns of Eternity’ is already making the rounds among the more discerning dance-floors.

3 Hraach

'Burned the Strings (Original)'

Label: Les Enfants Terribles Music
Release: 10/03/16 (Vinyl) TBA (Digital)

L.E.T. Music’s second release ‘Ararat’ features four artists with a penchant for eastern/oriental instrumentation with Viken Arman, Armen Miran, Nico Sun and the latest from Hraach featured here entitled ‘Burned The Strings’.

4 Speaking In Tongues

'Motion In Colour (Original)'

Label: Motek Music
Release: 10/10/16

One of my favorites off the new 12-track compilation release from Motek Music focusing on artists from the USA, including my pick here ’Motion In Colour’ by Speaking In Tongues.

5 Lars Von Licht

'From Arrows (Dodi Palese Remix)'

Label: Connaisseur Recordings
Release: 10/17/16

It's been six years since their last release via their sub-imprint label Supérieur but Connoisseur is back with this offering from Lars Von Licht and his single ‘From Arrows’ which is now in full release with an incredible remix by Dodi Palese.
