Collabhouse aims to empower artists with new DIY sync licensing tool

Music promotion and sync platform Collabhouse has launched a new tool designed to help independent electronic music producers, labels, and publishers license their tracks directly from their own platforms.

Designed to be embedded into artists' or labels' own websites, the tool unlocks both new tracks and back catalogues for licensing and micro-syncing.

Users can set their own payment terms, instantly receive licensing revenue top-ups, and maintain full control—all with transparency and without exclusivity.

“Licensing should be fast, fair, and frictionless,” mentions Marko Roca, Sync Licensing Manager at Collabhouse.

“With this tool, we’re democratizing sync deals for independent artists and labels who previously lacked access to these opportunities. It’s an important step toward a more open, creator-first music economy. Think of back catalogue exploitation, long tail revenue and creating exposure through sync,” he continues.

For those looking to turn past releases into new revenue streams, the tool offers a unique edge; it automates royalty splits and back-end payments, freeing up artists to focus on their craft while tapping into sync opportunities across digital and social platforms.

Unlike traditional stock libraries, Collabhouse focuses on real, high-quality music from independent creators, making it more appealing to brands and content creators seeking authenticity and originality.

For artists, this tool offers a new revenue stream with minimal setup and offers maximum control. As demand for sync opportunities rises across social and digital media, it puts independent producers in the driver's seat.
