These incredible images document the history of clubbing

Fancy seeing the "history of dance music and club culture" in a selection of incredible images? You'll be able to next month in an exhibition held by UK photo printers The Print Space and photography agency PYMCA.

Lost In Music being held at London club Village Underground on December 4 and will feature photos from dance music's "beginnings to the present day in 500 images". As a treat, we've collected some of our favourites for you to check out before the exhibition.

Anyone has been able to submit, though the submission window's now closed, capturing moments in Ibiza, at UK party Gatecrasher, Berlin club Tresor, acid house raves and loads more.

There's even some absolutely golden shots of Jeff Mills, David Morales and Frankie Knuckles and Fatboy Slim, with Dave Swindells, Tilman Brembs, Dean Chalkley and Gavin Mills among the photographers.

The Lost In Music description reads: "From the unsung pioneers in underground clubs, to the stadium-filling superstars, this is the story of creativity, vision, imagination and having the time of your life to the beat of the century. These are the moments captured by the people who played it, danced to it and, amazingly, somehow managed to photograph it without losing their camera."

The launch night at Village Underground is free, with DJ sets from Gavin Mills (9pm), Nancy Noise (10.30pm), Danny Rampling (midnight), Shea Burke (2am) and a special guest appearance from Shovell - The Drum Warrior. After that it goes to The Print Space Gallery in east London from February 4 to 17.
