Shaun Moses becomes first Indian artist to join Secret Cinema's Gem Agency

Shaun Moses has become the first Indian artist to sign with Gem Agency, a prestigious roster under Jeroen Verheij aka Secret Cinema's renowned Gem Records.

He joins the likes of Pleasurekraft, Christian Smith, Julian Jeweil, Enrico Sangiuliano, and Bart Skils, to name a few.

The Goa native has carved out a niche for himself with his distinct brand of techno. With releases on esteemed labels like Senso Sounds, Suara, and Octopus Recordings, Shaun has firmly established himself as one of India's foremost techno exports.

“It feels quite surreal, to be honest, to sign on to one of the biggest European agencies in the world. I've always envisioned this goal from the time I started my musical journey and to have this dream finally see the light of day makes me feel extremely blessed and grateful,” Shaun shares with Mixmag Asia, exclusively.

Gem Agency's decision to welcome Shaun Moses into their fold underscores their commitment to showcasing talent from diverse backgrounds. It not only marks a personal triumph but also opens doors for aspiring Indian artists, signalling a shift towards broader representation within the electronic music community.

When asked how he sees himself developing as an artist with Gem Agency, Shaun explains: “I think the core team is very motivated, glued together in their ideas and hold a large network of connections with clubs, promoters, festivals and labels all over the world. This has led to some of the biggest acts in the industry signing with them and it definitely solidifies my decision as I see my brand only enlarging and growing from here on.”
