South Korea’s eminent dance music gathering The Air House Festival returns at the end of May, held in the atmospheric pine forest grounds just off Yangyang beach in Gangwon-do.
Spanning three days, the outdoor festival will see DJs playing on two stages, dropping house, disco, minimal and techno varieties from 12pm on Saturday 27 May to 12pm on Monday 29 May.
The three-day, two-night affair, dubbed ‘nature music festival’, offers 48 hours of non stop music, and features headlining acts including [a:rpia:r] artist and Romanian house ambassador Rhadoo, revered selector Robert Johnson resident Vera, and chuggy-house captain and host of Opium’s Smala night, Manfredas.
They’re joined by Robbie Akbal, Cabanne, Herodot, and Z@P and a host of local and regional acts like Afrodite, Chae, DJ Sin, Haruka, Gonno, FFAN, Eric Seo, Jinwook, Sivanesh, Saint Guel, Jesse You, Kibum, Knopha, Klosing, Radio Revolution and plenty more. See the full line up below.
Beyond the music, The Air House Festival programming reminds us to party with a sense of balance, and maintain our zen, while emancipating to undulating grooves in its lush green surroundings. Their “Love, Play, and Chill” mantra comes to life through yoga and meditation sessions along with hyper-nostalgic antics of Disco Aerobic led by Zachryan (the festival baby)’s daddy Nico Lesage.
