FuFu Records delivers round 4 of their regional compilation series, '88 - Double Happiness Vol.4’

We’ve been hit with double happiness not one, two or three times this year… but now four, as Hong Kong based label FuFu Records goes full circle with their final and fourth compilation drop of 2021.

Coming from the same team behind Hong Kong's Shi Fu Miz Festival, and compiled by label founder MLCH, ‘88 - Double Happiness Vol.4’ sees eight artists from all corners of Asia including Indonesia, Japan, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, South Korea & China.

The regional artists offering original productions that span from house to techno, with a few off-kilter surprises in between, include Knopha, Yoshi Horino & House Violence, Galcid, We Are Neurotic, Stain, Maggie Tra, Sojeso and Mengzy.

Stand out tracks being rinsed on Mixmag Asia's Void Acoustic system include Mengzy's ravey-breaks affair with 'Into The Light', and the classic-sounding groove by 'We Are Neurotic' on Perjamuan.

Staying true to their promise to curb the negative effects of climate change, FuFu Records have been donating 80% of the compilation sales to NGO One Tree Planted, to help support reforestation and rebuild the habitat of critically endangered species.

Since March, they’ve planted 900 trees through two rounds of donations in the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Eco-friendly dance music gets a double-green-thumbs up from Mixmag Asia.
