Bangkok’s Sync Radio gears up for first live event this weekend

Bangkok’s rising underground platform Sync Radio, is gearing up for its most ambitious event yet, set to take over the luxurious Gaysorn Tower this Saturday.

Kicking off at 3pm, the event promises a multi-sensory experience with an eclectic lineup of local talent, a sprawling art market, and immersive installations—all against a stunning cityscape backdrop.

Launched just last year by local DJs Hidden Bag and Gaius, Sync Radio has quickly established itself as a pivotal hub for showcasing Bangkok's diverse music scene. Shortly after its inception, Alice joined as Creative Director, adding a bold visual and curatorial edge that has solidified Sync’s place as one of Thailand’s leading tastemakers.

With weekly events and broadcasts from Iconic Vinyl Studio, the platform brings both local and international artists to the forefront, building a solid reputation for championing underground culture.

This Saturday’s event will feature some of Bangkok’s most exciting DJs and producers. Lomoroom will kick things off with a three-hour set from 3pm to 6pm, providing a vibrant soundtrack to accompany the art market’s opening.

After that, it’s a relentless rotation of high-energy sets from Hidden Bag, Myle, Rui Tang, Gaius, Meltmode, and Rec n Cue — a diverse roster of selectors, each bringing their distinct flavour to the Funktion-One powered stage

But the music is only part of the story. Sync Radio’s ethos is about connection, community, and creativity, and this ethos will be on full display.

Expect interactive art installations, live art curation, music workshops, and an ‘Art Escape’ zone where local artists will showcase and sell their works. Every moment will be captured and shared online, staying true to Sync’s mission of making Bangkok’s creative energy accessible to a global audience.

Talking to Mixmag Asia about the event, the Sync team shared, “We’ve always wanted to create something bigger than just the studio broadcasts. We grew up watching Mixmag sets on YouTube, and thought — why not bring that to Thailand? This event is about officially introducing these artists to the community in a way that feels intimate and impactful. We want people to really know who they’re listening to and connect with them.”
