Welcome to JadeTopia, the first all Asian virtual music festival

The rise of racism, the lack of support for the local scene…the recent COVID-19 outbreak has highlighted a lot of dysfunctions in our society, especially those targeting Asian communities. In trying to find a solution, Asian DJs and EDMTunes came together to create JadeTopia, the first virtual and charitable festival that exclusively features DJs from Asia.

“By creating JadeTopia, we hope to raise money to assist our health workers through Direct Relief as well as present Asians everywhere the opportunity to stand together during these unprecedented times,” says Michael Tam from EDMTunes.

Artists from all over the Asian diaspora will play during the festival, including Elephant, BEAUZ, Henry Fong, DJ Soda, Tokyo Machine, Anger Dima or MYRNE, just to name but a few. See the full line-up below.

The event will premiere on Facebook Live and Twitch, on April 24 at 4pm EST. The Facebook groups Subtle Asian Ravers and Subtle Asian Dating will also stream the online festival.

Throughout the live stream, virtual attendees will have the opportunity to donate money. All the funds raised will be donated to the Direct Relief organization, to help their fight against coronavirus.

JadeTopia takes place on April 24. Head here for more information about the event and tickets. You can also register on the Facecook event here.
