MYRNE signs a multi-record deal with Ultra Records and releases ‘In Search of Solitude’

Manfred-Lim, better known by his music moniker MYRNE, is the first-ever Singaporean DJ to sign a multi-record deal with a major dance label after starting the year off securing a multi-record deal with Ultra Records, thus propelling himself into the international spectrum of EDM.

The first album is called ‘Search of Solitude’ and is a product of relentless effort and a struggle to truly find his sound. From honing the trumpet in college, Manfred self-taught himself the art of electronic production through his own methods of dissecting popular music, and simply going to his peers for honest feedback.

Like many artists, MYRNE also has his own favourites. He said of ‘Worlds Away’: “The moment I wrote the song, I wanted it to come out immediately. That's why I chose it as the first single off the album”.
