VTSS makes her Japan debut at Tokyo’s WOMB on March 15
The event is a continuation of ACiD: A Concept in Dance, previously featuring Peggy Gou, Nina Kraviz, Fatboy Slim
For the first time in Japan, VTSS makes her way to Toyko’s WOMB on March 15 for another ACiD: A Concept in Dance club night.
Martyna Maja, also known as VTSS, has been on the upcrawl over the past few years. Having graced many global venues and events such as Berghain, Circoloco, Glastonbury and Dekmantel, she will also be playing at Tomorrowland and Detroit’s Movement Festival this year. Let’s not forget her fist-pumping-inducing set at Mixmag’s The Lab LDN in 2022.
She’s also had a flurry of releases, the latest being ‘Steady Pace’ with Boys Noize via Big Beat Records. The track includes her catchy vocals wrapped around her distinct techno sound with elements of house and disco. Not one to box herself in sonically, VTSS’ most notable track ‘Make You Scream’ via label Ninja Tune uses a more electro approach with pop sensibilities.
The Warsaw native producer and DJ who’s currently based in London will be bringing her sounds of techno, acid, EBM and hardcore to Shibuya as she introduces herself to the crowds in the city for the first time.
