Three-day festival Japonism kicks off in Vietnam’s Hai Van Pass
Merging Japanese & Vietnamese culture, PMC bring heavy hitters from across Asia to the mountains
Da Nang-based promoter PMC is set to host the second chapter of their Japonism series with a three-day festival in the breathtaking mountains of Vietnam this weekend.
The event will span three days and two nights (September 6-8), nestled in the scenic Lang Co Mountainside along the world-famous Hai Van Pass.
The festival will feature two stages and over 30 international and local DJs, including standout acts like Atsushi Maeda, Yuta, Tiny Giant, Hyphy Line, Ouissam, Hi-C, CMT, and Di Linh, among many other prominent names from across Asia.
This follows just one week after the debut chapter of Japonism, held along Da Nang’s breathtaking beachside.
With Japonism, PMC aims to merge the natural beauty of central Vietnam with a rich blend of Japanese and local talent.
The festival places an emphasis on Japan’s vibrant art and party culture, with decor and artwork paying homage to the country’s unique aesthetic, juxtaposed with the serenity of Vietnam’s mountains.
Despite only being in operation for a year, PMC has ignited a new wave of energy in the Da Nang and Hoi An music scene, hosting a series of top-tier events with impressive lineups. Their pop-up events, alongside their club Gatosano, continue to elevate the region’s nightlife and bring Da Nang up to the level of other Vietnamese cities.
