When two UK hip-hop DJs first got together in 2007, no one could have ever predicted them pioneering the wobble and bass sound that dominated dance floors for the next few years. Naturally their sound has evolved and matured with them and while wobbly may be a thing of the past, you can still feel that signature style of bouncy house music in everything that they do. And just ahead of their Asian tour (full dates below), they've put together an exclusive mix for their fans and graciously answered our usual questions.

What's the most unique hotel you’ve ever stayed in?

Versace hotel was an odd one

What was the worst job you had before you were a successful touring artist?

Beni - worst too many, best one was a mini golf attendant

What's your favorite band/music right now outside of the dance music industry?

Anderson Paak

Do you have any pre-gig rituals or superstitions?

Good pre show dinner = bad gig & visa versa. Never works out that way tho.

What's your lamest claim to fame besides DJing?

One of us is an alpine plant expert.

What's the strangest cultural thing a promoter has ever taken you to do?

Did a Māori welcoming ceremony in Aukland (called pōwhiri) where a warrior challenges you to a fight.

What is one place that a visit home isn’t complete without?

Pub life in London is amazing during the summer.

What are your hobbies besides DJing?

Collecting/hoarding everything/anything

Regret all the studio gear we haven't bought

Most bizarre situation you've ever found yourself in?

Our lives!

What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever done while performing?

In vinyl days, we often used to lift the needle off the record that was playing.

What's the best interview question you've ever been asked (besides this one)?

None ;)

The strangest thing you've ever eaten while on tour?

Lots, but raw intestines was weird. Wasn't too bad to be honest.

If you could spend a day with anyone on the planet, who would it be?

Donald trump to tell him trump means fart in English slang.

What do you like to spend your money on?

Eating well, studio gear and our loved ones

Go-to hangover food?

Bacon & egg sandwich in UK or In & Out burger in America

What's the weirdest thing you've ever seen happening from the DJ booth?

Both speaker stacks caught fire whilst we were playing and the club got shut down. The roof was literally on fire

Weapon of choice?

Shurikens or samurai swords. Love ninjas.
