Superstar DJ and producer Steve Aoki threw a virtual dinner with the who’s who collaborators from his newest album ’Neon Future IV’. Maluma, Nick Carter, will.i.am, Lay Zhang and more gathered around the virtual dinner table and gave a little update on how they’re passing the time during on lockdown. For 45 minutes, the group shared stories, memes and talked about current events over dinner. Steve Aoki also mentioned he’s working on a new alias. Check out the full dinner chat below:
’Neon Future IV’ is Steve Aoki’s sixth studio album and was released just earlier this month. The tracks shift effortlessly between all the subgenres of electronic music, including electro house, future bass and trap, as well as Aoki’s signature big room party-starting sound. The album also featured a star-studded line-up of collaborations including Icona Pop, Desiigner, Torey Lanez, Zooey Deschanel, Monsta X, Backstreet Boys, Mike Shinoda, will.i.am, Matthew Koma, Alan Walker, Travis Barker, Sting, Felix Jaehn and more.
The virtual dinner was a great way not just to promote the album but also connect with an audience. Even though the pandemic is tearing us apart, these live sessions seem to bring artists closer to their fans while setting the stage for a new wave of remote entertainment.
