Steve Aoki drops new reggaeton-influenced single ‘Maldad’ With Maluma
He also announces his upcoming album, Neon Future IV and spring 2020 tour
Two-time Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Steve Aoki features Colombian pop star Maluma on his new track, ‘Maldad’ – the 11th single off Aoki’s upcoming album, Neon Future IV. ‘Maldad’ is built around the Dembow riddim, and works with a combination of Latin and Middle Eastern influences. In the music video Colombian star Maluma is the fire to Aoki’s ice, with the two dancing separately in blue and red sets, surrounded by beautiful dancers. The effect is – once again – that of international playboys partying in surreal dream-fantasies. What makes it work is the decidedly sticky beat and Maluma’s smooth flow.
Besides Maluma, Aoki’s new album also features a wide variety of artists, including the Backstreet Boys, Darren Criss and Sting. Simultaneously, Aoki is also gearing up for his Neon Future IV: The Color of Noise Tour which kicks off this Spring. Check out tour dates and ticket sales here.
