Slowmouth’s ‘Fancy’ rounds up new VA with minimal mastery

Manchester-based imprint Just Fish Wax presents the second instalment of its VA series titled ‘Voyage’, which drops today, February 13.

The label, founded by music producers Justfin and Hish, stems from their mutual passion for a unique sound and frequency. Also, the two had a desire to establish a "forever home" for their music, while offering a stage to spotlight sounds from the often overlooked corners of the music scene.

Nestled under the expansive minimal umbrella, the label's sonic identity flirts with elements of house and breaks.

Just over a year old, Just Fish Wax has rapidly matured, garnering positive feedback within the European minimal and house scene — their tracks have even been heard echoing from stages of large-scale events such as Romania’s Sunwaves Festival.

This second ‘Voyage’ compilation marks a significant milestone for the label as it represents its first foray into showcasing the talents of Asia-based producers and fostering a more balanced representation of global musical landscapes. Peek the names of contributors below.
