Singapore’s cult club night RITUAL, founded by Blackout Agency in 2015 in the basement of Kyō, celebrates 10 years of underground community, forward-thinking music and dancefloor devotion.

Across cultures, rituals have always brought people together to heal, to celebrate, to transcend. Club culture became a modern-day version of that, which is why the name RITUAL was chosen. It was a club night where intention met rhythm and strangers became community. Music was the religion. The dancefloor was the temple and the DJ was the guide.

Over the years, RITUAL became a trusted home for adventurous music. The series has brought some of the finest names in electronic music to the island, including John Talabot, Gerd Janson, Radio Slave, Tornado Wallace and Kornél Kovács. Yet at the same time, it remained ahead of the curve, debuting groundbreaking artists in Singapore such as Orpheu The Wizard, Prins Thomas, Chida, Perel, &ME and more.

With roots at the iconic Salon des Amateurs (Düsseldorf) and his label Offen Music, Vladimir Ivković has shaped modern leftfield club culture. A regular fixture at Berghain, De School, Dekmantel, Primavera Sound and other institutions that define the global cutting edge electronic music scene.

Now, marking a decade of pushing culture forward, RITUAL honours that spirit once again, presenting the Singapore debut of legendary selector Vladimir Ivkovic.

What defines him is his unique approach to DJing. He doesn’t just mix tracks, he builds worlds and connects galaxies. Fluid in movement, unpredictable in direction and charged with raw human emotion.
