Milkman & Dekmantel debut John Talabot in India for 2-city tour

Mumbai-based promoters Milkman have teamed up with iconic Dutch festival Dekmantel to bring John Talabot for his first tour of India. The two-stop tour will see the Catalunyan artist as well as Dekmantel Soundsystem (and festival co-founder) Casper Tielrooij perform in Mumbai and Bangalore.

Talabot and Tielrooij’s first stop will be antiSOCIAL in Mumbai on Friday, 21 April with a support set from homegrown talent Spacejams.

Their second stop at Koramangala Social in Bangalore on Saturday, 22 April will be joined by Aaguu, Alina and G.S.T

While this is Dekmantel Soundsystem’s debut in India, it isn’t the first time they’ve paired up with Milkman.

Following a few foundational years in Europe, UK and the US, Milkman founder Jai Anand shifted his focus to his homeland and quickly became a key protagonist in Mumbai’s dance music community, which he continued to do so for the next six years. Anand’s time in Europe saw him throwing parties in Valencia, Spain, which is where he first connected with the Dutch duo known as Dekmantel Soundsystem in 2017.
