Saigon staple The Lighthouse reopens its doors in Bui Vien Street

Saigon’s iconic venue, The Lighthouse, is reopening its doors after a brief hiatus announced in February, following a relocation that marks a new chapter for the venue.

The new space is located in the bustling heart of the infamous Bui Vien Street, which will have its grand reopening with a two-day event this weekend (September 13-14).

Over its past eight years in business, the club has become a central hub for Vietnam’s thriving nightlife scene and will continue to have a strong focus on local and Vietnamese artists moving forward.

The new venue boasts upgraded features, including cutting-edge lighting and visual setup, and a state-of-the-art sound system in the main room.

Layout-wise, it includes a rooftop space, offering a more laid-back house, disco, and chill-out vibe, while the main room pulses with the sounds of house, electro, and techno.

To celebrate its grand reopening, The Lighthouse is hosting a stellar line-up of local names, including Tristyan, Slowbirds, Alan Richie, Dennox, Jonathan-Be, and Khoa Bicycle, with many more set to take the stage in the coming weeks.

Moving forward, The Lighthouse will continue to embody Vietnam’s sense of community, working closely with other venues and promotors to elevate all involved.

This sense of camaraderie and mutual support is a hallmark of Vietnam’s music culture, and The Lighthouse is no exception.
