IYRE and PAV4N dish up ‘UK Flavour’

London-based Soulvent welcomed IYRE back to the label last week with ‘UK Flavour’, a new single featuring Foreign Beggars’ PAV4N on vocals.

Released on April 18, the garage belter is a different direction for both IYRE and the label, which are primarily known for drum‘n’bass.

On that front, the Sri Lankan producer has been having a phenomenal couple of years with tracks on UKF, Focuz, and Elevate Recordings alongside performing at Printworks and recording sets for BBC Radio 1 and Hospital Records’ HubLIVE series.

Sure to be a dancefloor weapon, ‘UK Flavour’ serves “pure energy” across crisp drums and wobbling bass, as PAV4N—who is in excellent form on the collab—spits on the refrain.

“Working with PAV4N has been a bucket list moment for me, especially since Foreign Beggars were a huge inspiration when I was getting into electronic music,” IYRE told Mixmag Asia.

“The first time I heard them was on ‘Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites’ with Skrillex and I was so hooked. Now, I have a tune with them which is super crazy. Huge love to PAV4N for being a true pioneer and a huge role model. More to come hopefully!”
