The four-day festival features multiple Japan debuts & a strong a b2b programme from Jane Fitz, Dr. Nishimura, Lena Willikens, Vladimir Ivkovic, Yadin Moha & more
rural has revealed its full line-up for 2026. Taking place July 17-20 at Numajiri Kogen's nowhere CAMP in Fukushima, this year's edition features several first appearances and a strong set of b2b pairings.
On the international side, Al Wootton, RS Tangent, and Volodymyr Gnatenko all make their Japan debuts, with Gnatenko also performing his first-ever live set in the country.
The b2b programme is a highlight: Lena Willikens and Vladimir Ivkovic return to a shared stage in Japan for the first time in seven years and Jane Fitz and Dr. Nishimura pair up following their encounter at rural GOA 2026 earlier this year.
There’s also another Vladimir Ivkovic b2b with Yadin Moha plus Spekki Webu b2b OCCA.
From Japan, the roster is equally considered. YAMA, a fixture of Osaka's vinyl culture, makes their rural debut alongside live acts MANISDRON and dj sniff.
Long-standing rural artists Akuma No Numa, DJ mew, MITAYO, suimin, and Kyomi return, joined by units Enantiomorphs and Carpas Wiño Klint.
YELLOWUHURU, Herbalistek, and regional talents APEPA, KAPI, LAP, and SOUKI fill out the local contingent, alongside resident DJ Toner and touring regulars Atsushi Maeda and Nao.
The full line-up spans 35 artists in total.

The outdoor stage stays with the Void Acoustics Incubus system that the festival is known for, while the indoor stage moves to four Danley Sound Labs SBH20FF units, calibrated for depth and presence rather than sheer volume.
New installation and spatial work will run throughout the site, including a film programme from Unicorn Image, an independent film club originally from Guangzhou, now based in Tokyo.

In terms of venue, nowhere CAMP sits at the foot of Mt. Adatara in one of Japan's better hot spring regions, with food vendors, local sake, craft beer, guided onsen tours, and camping folded into the overall experience.
For 2026, rural is introducing 2-Day Tickets for the first time, alongside the existing 3-Day and 4-Day Full Pass options.
