Potato Head Beach Club marks 15 years with summer-long programme & landmark July weekender
The celebration on July 26-27 will feature local favourites & a traditional Balinese ceremony
This summer marks 15 years of Potato Head Beach Club, the Bali-based cultural destination known for blending music, design, and sustainability.
Since opening in 2010 on the shores of Seminyak, the Beach Club has grown into Desa Potato Head, a creative village and B Corp-certified hotel that redefines hospitality through purpose-driven programming and a strong environmental focus.
Over the past decade and a half, it has also hosted a range of notable events, including a 2022 Boiler Room takeover, the immersive wellness festival Merasa (co-curated by Erykah Badu), and all four Rainbow Disco Club Bali editions.
Along the way, the Beach Club has welcomed icons like Grace Jones, Richie Hawtin, Fatboy Slim, Honey Dijon, Moodymann, Peggy Gou, and Disclosure (who recorded part of their album on-site).

To celebrate the milestone, Potato Head is hosting a season of events from June through August, culminating in a major anniversary weekend on 26–27 July.
The first day (July 26), will feature local favourites such as White Shoes & The Couples Company, Sore, Diskoria, and Greybox Ensemble.
On the following day, attendees can experience a traditional Balinese ceremony led by Pak Sedana which reflects the brand’s ongoing connection to local culture and values.

In commemoration of its 15th year, this month also sees the launch of a circular culinary program helmed by Chef Felix Schoener, focusing on food waste reduction by transforming by-products into high-quality dishes—part of a broader commitment to sustainability that has reduced the Desa Potato Head’s landfill output to just 0.5%.
Leading up to the weekender, guests can indulge in an array of activities such as movie nights at Klymax, fire grill feasts and, of course, live music and DJ sets from a stellar line-up of collaborators.
