MYRNE returns with the blissfully hypnotic single ‘Falling Back’
The dreamy composition features euphoric vocals by LA-based singer Shallou
Released on October 28 as the follow-up to ‘Secrets’, MYRNE’s ‘Falling Back’ sees the Singaporean producer team up with Los Angeles-based multi-talent Shallou on delivering a blissful, new track via Astralwerks.
After releasing his debut EP ‘Circles’ in May, ‘Falling Back’ is here to respond to the popular demand for more music from his established fanbase. MYRNE’s latest composition combines his high energy and emotional track with Shallou’s dreamy and airy vocals, constituting an overall ethereal vibe.

The lyrics echo the story of reconciling the desire to find the ultimate connection but hesitating along the way. Shallou’s vocals in the soaring chorus that sing out the words “Stop now, we could get some rest,” gracefully instill the theme into MYRNE’s ascending beats and feathery synths, morphing complex musical arrangements into a soothing sonic delight.
Speaking on the breakdown in the last minute of the track, MYRNE mentions “I felt a big ‘standing on the edge of the world’ vibe when I was recording.” The bridge is one that’s undoubtedly emotional — a sensation that listeners will also feel as they process the euphoric combination of fluttery beats and distorted vocals.

“The unique drop is floaty and the chorus is about the rat race I feel like we've all been in since covid slowed down,” Shallou adds.
‘Falling Back’ is both inviting and mysteriously atmospheric — yet another testament to why MYRNE is considered one of dance music’s most exciting talents out of Asia.
