Techno duo MO/SS drop their stripped-back debut live set from Vietnam
A presentation of analogue-led, open-ended improvisation from Sanil Sudan & Shaun Moses, shot at Hội An’s Halcyon Beach Club
Last month, Indian duo MO/SS took to the stage at Halcyon Beach Club for their debut live set; the video of that performance is now out.
Taking place in in Hội An, the performance came part of their Asia tour (and was their only stop in Vietnam), with sound provided by SubViệt Sound System.
MO/SS brings together Sanil Sudan (known as FILM and Tyrell Dub Corp) and Shaun Moses; both with deep roots in electronic music, their individual work stretches across house, techno, dub, IDM, and breakbeat.

As a duo, however, their focus sharpens: Detroit techno and electro form the backbone, with dub techniques and machine funk threading through everything they do. Working across analogue hardware and digital tools, they leave room for improvisation, ensuring each set takes on a life of its own.
