The world’s highest-grossing media franchise from Japan makes its EDM debut in Los Angeles & London

Marshmello & Alison Wonderland headline Pokémon’s 30th anniversary concert series

Well-known Japanese franchise Pokémon has announced ‘Pokémon Night Out’, a two-night concert series headlined by Marshmello and Alison Wonderland.

Set to take place at Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome on October 24 and London’s O2 Arena on November 10, the EDM producers will perform custom sets with visuals made exclusively for the event.

The concerts sit within a broader What's Your Favorite? campaign, marking 30 years since Pokémon launched in Japan in 1996.

Since then, the franchise has become one of the highest-grossing media franchise in history, spanning video games, trading cards, animation, and film across global markets.

“Both Marshmello and Alison Wonderland share a genuine passion for Pokémon that extends beyond the stage, making this collaboration a natural celebration of the fandom,” Taito Okiura, VP of marketing at The Pokémon Company International, said about the line-up.

He also adds: “With immersive experiences like Pokémon Night Out, we’re leveraging the power of music to unite Trainers across our global fan community.”

Limited-edition merchandise will be available through Pokémon Center online and on-site at both venues.
