Dynamite Disco Club drops milestone 50th release, ‘Dynamite Cuts Vol. 1’
Farhan Rehman, Stalvart John, Nida, and SourFunk present a tightly curated set of groove-heavy dancefloor music
Dynamite Disco Club (DDC) hits a milestone this month with its 50th release: ‘Dynamite Cuts Vol. 1’, a four-track digital compilation spotlighting standout voices in India’s house and disco ecosystem.
Comprising tracks by Farhan Rehman, Stalvart John, Nida, and SourFunk the release which dropped on July 18 is a focused, floor-tested showcase of the label’s evolution when it comes to producing dance-inducing sounds.
The compilation kicks off with ‘Strictly Rhythm’ from A&R head Farhan Rehman, which is a slick, groove-led house cut nodding to '90s New York with piano stabs, shuffling rhythms, and soulful vocal textures.
Label founder Stalvart John follows with ‘Cradle of Life’, a shimmering Afro-disco tune built on melodic ngoni riffs and radiant vocals with warmth and bounce that reflect DDC’s connection to culturally rooted club sounds.
Next, Nida’s ‘Where Were You?’ is a tight, high-energy tech house cut laced with disco tinges and sharp vocal hooks that makes it sound like the epitome of dancefloor euphoria.
Closing out the release, SourFunk puts forth ‘Dancin’; a lush, string-laced cut that celebrates feminine energy with style and flair, complete with sassy lyrics to spare.

“This release feels like a turning point,” says DDC founder Stalvart John. “We started with edits and nu disco, but both the sound and the community have evolved. Right now, we’re focused on house records that are fun, functional, and still say something. We want music that belongs in DJ crates and is representative of the modern-day sound around these genres; that’s where the label is headed.”

Having clocked over 110 events across 14 cities (including a landmark 100th event at Dots Bay House, Sri Lanka, earlier this year), plus curations at festivals like Magnetic Fields, Echoes of Earth, and NH7 Weekender, DDC’s impact is undoubtedly tangible.
With ‘Dynamite Cuts Vol. 1’, they’re doubling down on their mission to provide club-centric music that carries weight, purpose…and joy, of course.
