Mixmag Asia, Omni and Magic Room parties take over Hong Kong Island
As many in Hong Kong eagerly await the coming of Clockenflap this weekend, we’ve got more exciting news for you to revel in.
Adding to the excitement of their highly-anticipated comeback and stellar assembly of artists that led to a sold-out event, Clockenflap will be hosting a series of afterparties across the city including two events hosted by Mixmag Asia.
On Friday, March 3 after indulging in the performances of Phoenix, Arctic Monkeys and HAAi, make your way to Hong Kong’s Quality Goods Club to immerse in the eclectic sets of Pantai People’s Marc Roberts, Helen Ting, Arun R and Johnny Hiller from 10 pm to 4 am.
Guests planning to attend are encouraged to book tables in advance to guarantee themselves an early spot and for added convenience.
The afterparty on Saturday, March 4 will be held in a bespoke club setting at Soho House, decked out with the finest Void acoustic sound system that will echo the sonic offerings of bass-slinging newcomers Spencer b2b Tfeelscary, Acadana’s Jayme, Yeti Out’s disco and bass wizard Fergus and Unchained Asia honcho Immuno until 2 am.
Two other official events take place on Friday night: Omni Agency takes over Soho House and Magic Room will be hosting their signature format at Cassio.
Both events will be free for Clockenflap wristband bearers only.
The festival’s organisers have recently announced the full line-up of acts, which sees them bring over US hip hop legends Wu-Tang Clan for a first-ever show in the city.
During the first line-up reveal in December, Clockenflap also announced a number of electronic music outfits such as Moderat, Kim Ann Foxman and The Illustrious Blacks (Manchildblack x Monstah Black).
