Bønehead drops twin techno EPs ‘Schrødinger’ & ‘Quantum Decøherence’
Both four-trackers are filled with stripped-down grooves & introspective themes colliding

Bønehead, the mind behind community-driven label Bøne.FM, delivers a double techno offering with ‘Schrødinger’ and ‘Quantum Decøherence’.
Merging nearly a decade of sonic experimentation with the hypnotic, rolling rhythms of four-on-the-floor techno, Bønehead explores duality through sound and dives deep into contrast—love and hate, rage and calm, freedom and control.
“We are in a state of quantum entanglement and can exist in our pure states only if we remain unobserved, which I would say is our birthright.”

On ‘Schrødinger’, ‘The Art of Mourning’, opens with classic techno drive, layered with laser-like synths and an emotive, warbling melody. ‘Heartwørm’ brings industrial edges and percussive grooves, while ‘One Hit Wønder’ dives into glitchy chaos before locking back into a galloping beat, before the minimal yet textured ‘Forbidden Rømance’ closes with a brooding restraint.

‘Quantum Decøherence’ kicks off with ‘Henøsis’—a galloping groove charged with rising percussion and dystopian synths. ‘Møtion Blur’ ups the rhythm, layering intricate beats over sparse, minimal notes. ‘Disintegratiøn’ hits hard with a propulsive bassline and sharp, bellowing synths, and closing out, ‘Psychøsis’ dives into trippy territory, weaving high-tempo acid lines over a hypnotic, looping rhythm.
