Bangkok D'n'B crew impress with back-to-back weekends of solid bookings

Drum and bass is alive and kicking in Bangkok and that’s largely in part due to the crew over at PhatFunk.

Having just surpassed their five-year anniversary as Bangkok’s leading drum and bass promoters, they’re coming up on back-to-back weekends featuring some of the world’s biggest stars in the drum and bass scene.

They begin this upcoming weekend with Calibre and Marcus Intalex with MC DRS. All hailing from the UK, these men need little introduction in the drum and bass community because of their prolific involvement in the scene for the last two decades.

Just in case, here is a little refresher.

Calibre and Marcus Intalex play at Glow in Bangkok on Friday November 27th, 2015. They will be supported by DJs Azek, DeLorean, Instinct.

To top that off, PhatFunk return the following weekend with a Parisian based artist who goes by the handle Moresounds, whose style of drum and bass is fueled by lots of bass and chock-full of old school sounds. Think 90s old school jungle music 100 years into the future.

Fact Magazine has identified him as producer to watch for this year and his live sets are also making waves. He’s become known for his high energy live performances. Check it out below

Moresounds plays at Glow in Bangkok on Friday December 4th, 2015.
