Be a part of pawsitive change for Bangkok's street dogs

Non-profit animal welfare organisation, VetVan Thailand, and Bangkok-based promoters and DJs Soi Dogs are teaming for a music-fuelled fundraiser that aims to make pawsitive change.

Billed Soi Dogs 4 Soi Dogs, the event and campaign aims to raise awareness around animal welfare and cruelty across the country, with all entry fees and revenue from auction items being donated to VetVan Thailand.

Rory Kirkham and Walt Mattson of DJ duo Soi Dogs, said, "Soi Dogs 4 Soi Dogs is not just an event; we want it to be a community movement.”

"We experienced firsthand the hardships that street animals face in our own neighbourhood, and it left a lasting impression on us. Our friend and former colleague Jazmin French has been running VetVan Thailand, a non-profit animal welfare organisation out of Rayong. We found out they were in need of financial support and saw an opportunity to rally our community and help.”

VetVan Thailand started in 2018, and have since placed more than 500 dogs and cats into homes, and sterilised tens of thousands for breeding control. Based out of the southern part of the country in Rayong, the VetVan team focus on the less reachable areas to provide transport for medical care, as well as achieving several ‘spaying days’ per month to reduce the amount of street animals that are abandoned and left uncared for.
