ZHU announces his "most captivating project" slated for later this year
And yes, it’s his new album
When ZHU was headlining at Winter On The Rocks last week, a mysterious message flashed on the Red Rocks Amphitheatre big screen and it looked something like this:
Album coming this year. pic.twitter.com/t5Vz49XUDI

And just as ZHU's fans were wondering what ‘the most captivating project’ might be, the artist later clarified himself with a short line on twitter – “album coming this year”. The message was swiftly retweeted thousands of times, and fans are now hyped up for something new – ZHU's last album, ‘Ringo's Desert’ was released two years ago and he has been laying low for a while. An on-screen announcement follows the cryptic style of the Chinese-American DJ with the cult following, just like when he surprised everyone on his latest video 'Came For The Low' where he was finally unmasked.
Even though the release date nor the album title or artwork has been revealed, it seems we can be assured the album is coming this year. For those unacquainted with ZHU, check out his hard, high drama, house-y b2b set with Tchami at last year's HARD Summer Music Festival here. You’ll see what all the commotion is about.
