VOID Acoustics update their KROME series speakers & monitors
Our first encounter with these was in KOR Taipei & Shanghai
Metallic speakers from Void Acoustics will soon be in the public’s reach as the brand has teased the newest update to their KROME series.
During the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2024 event in Barcelona, Void Acoustics unveiled chrome-coated monitors and an Air Array speaker collection titled the KROME series.
The Air Array speakers feature a three-way sculpted design, with each speaker crafted entirely from fibreglass. The speakers come in three metallic tones — silver, gold and black, which all ooze a luxurious feel.
“We are incredibly proud to unveil our KROME surface finish at ISE. Void’s approach has always been to provide exceptional audio solutions that are as stunning to the eye as they are to the ear. ISE is the ideal event to unveil this latest offering and we’re looking forward to seeing attendee’s reactions to this showstopping distinctive finish at our stand,” mentions Rog Mogale, Co-founder of Void Acoustics.
Back in 2016, the first KROME series from Void Acoustics was housed at KOR in Taipei — where these speakers were built exclusively for the club.

Later in 2020, KOR opened another club in Shanghai featuring the KROME series and similar luxury aesthetics as the Taipei establishment. The KOR nightclub in Taipei was also listed in our ‘15 aesthetically pleasing DJ booths from across Asia’ piece.

According to VOID Acoustics, this updated version has come to fruition due to customer demand.Besides its visually unique aesthetics, users can also expect top-notch auditory experiences and pristine sounds as one would from VOID speakers.
As these speakers were just introduced to the public, there has yet to be any news on when it will be available or its price point.
