Uman Therma’s ‘Terracotta’ is a hypnotic solo debut
The half of Seoul duo Salamanda dives into ambient textures & cinematic tension
Uman Therma, half of Seoul-based duo Salamanda, has dropped her debut solo release, ‘Terracotta’, and it’s a hypnotic ride from start to finish.
The project dives headfirst into ambient depths and experimental textures, opening with serene, atmospheric tracks that wrap you in warm, colourful strings and a sense of calm.
But just when you’re settled, ‘Terracotta’ shifts gears, unleashing dramatic tension with haunting vocals, off-kilter percussion, and strings that rise and fall like the soundtrack to a climactic final boss battle.
