Le Cirque hosts both nights on January 30 & 31, starting with a Mixmag Asia–curated showcase before the iconic live DJ series’ debut in Indonesia’s capital

The Mixmag Lab arrives in Jakarta as part of a two-night weekender this month

Mixmag brings a two-night programme to in the world’s largest metropolis at the end of January, with the Mixmag Weekender taking place on January 30 and 31 at Le Cirque.

The weekend marks the arrival of The Mixmag Lab in Jakarta on the second night, its first appearance in Asia for 2026, following recent editions in Dhaka, Hong Kong, and Bali with house music legend Theo Parrish.

The Mixmag Lab has become one of Mixmag’s most recognisable live DJ formats, built around close-knit dancefloors and a clear emphasis on the music itself. Each session is filmed and shared globally, connecting local scenes with international audiences.

The Jakarta edition marks the Lab’s first appearance in Asia for 2026, bringing together a range of Indonesian artists in a setting designed for intimacy and energy.

While both nights form part of the same weekend, they are distinct in both concept and line-up.

Friday, January 30 is titled Mixmag Asia Presents, a curated showcase highlighting sounds from across the region with an emphasis on contemporary Asian club culture. The line-up features South Korea’s Didi Han alongside Indonesian artists Equalwho of PNNY and Jonathan Kusuma of Dekadenz.

Saturday, January 31 is dedicated to The Mixmag Lab Jakarta. The focus shifts to a broader survey of Indonesia’s electronic music community, with appearances from the SALA crew, PNNY, Archie (who we told you to look out for back in 2024), plus a live performance from Latex.

Both nights take place at Le Cirque, a 250-capacity club in the bustling SCBD area designed around sound and atmosphere which just opened in November 2025.

Built around a Void Acoustics Air Motion soundsystem and a responsive lighting setup, the club offers a compact, well-tuned environment that suits long-form DJ sets and live recordings without distraction. In other words; the perfect setting to launch The Mixmag Lab’s first outing in Asia for 2026.
