Taipei welcomes Janeret via Break The Wall’s brand-new ‘No Sleep In The City’ event

Mark your calendar for Friday, May 19 as Taiwan-based house music collective and house music trailblazers, Break The Wall, invite French DJ Janeret to the island.

Real name Mickael Jeanneret, he’s considered one of the key artists of Paris-based label, record store and booking agency Yoyaku. Known for having productional prowess towards deep house music, he’s a stalwart of venues all over Europe and has also checked Japan, Australia and the U.S.A. off his touring bucket list.

Since settling in Paris from Grenoble in 2010, Janeret started “taking production seriously” and released his groove-filled compositions to the public via various imprints. Yoyaku, famous for being the flag-bearer of French minimal, quickly caught onto his talent and signed him onto their roster, which led to Janeret launching a number of sub-labels plus playing the role of Art Director for Joule Imprint.
