Radical Softness headlines first edition of Groove Into The Void’s new event series

Karachi-based rave organiser Groove Into The Void (GITV) is known for its invite-only, impromptu events that take place in unconventional, underground spaces. With the aim of providing a safe space for the city’s 20,000+ techno music enthusiasts, GITV’s previous events gathered over 600 attendees while being centred around a very strong team of Pakistan’s rising stars for the line-up.

This time GITV invites over Berlin-based techno guru Radical Softness for the first event of their upcoming party series titled Controlled Chaos. Over the course of eight months, the parties will be held at three diverse destinations — Karachi, Lahore and Berlin — with a line-up that sees a curated mix of DJs from Germany and Pakistan.

Real name Lea Rose, Radical Softness heads over to South Asia for a night of powerful rhythmic patterns, mellow synths and positive vibes on May 6, 2023.

'Controlled Chaos' aims to foster a community and galvanize a spirit of collaboration among artists from both countries, starting from behind the decks and on the dancefloors.

“The show is an immersive experience continuing with our purpose to challenge the norms of Pakistan's music community and introducing you to world-class and local artists and their radical sounds,” says GITV.

Kicking off the series in Karachi, GITV also enlists local beat purveyors TollCrane, Jaffer, Moose and Ozzie (Lahore) to enliven the event alongside visual artist Saad Aslam Ali who will be providing the optical entertainment for the night.
