Pippi Ciez brings his signature organic house sound to Singapore for W PRESENTS

W Singapore – Sentosa Cove unveils its refreshed identity this October with the launch of W PRESENTS — the global live music series celebrating creatives who embody W Hotels’ bold sonic identity.

Making its Singapore debut this month, W PRESENTS will feature a weekend of music, lifestyle experiences, and vibrant moments that coincide with the unveiling of the hotel’s newly redesigned rooms and refreshed spaces.

The highlight of the weekend arrives on Saturday, October 25, when internationally acclaimed DJ and producer Pippi Ciez takes over WOOBAR from 10pm to midnight with a hybrid live set.

A driving force behind Inward Records, the UK-born artist is known for blending tribal percussion, deep basslines, and immersive textures—often performed with live drums and analogue equipment. His signature sound, a soulful fusion of Afro and organic house, has earned global recognition.

His debut album ‘Multiple of Three’ topped Beatport charts and captured the attention of industry heavyweights including Black Coffee, Keinemusik, and Lee Burridge.

Across the weekend, the resort will transform into a playground of sound, featuring international and local acts that bring unique shades of house, Balearic, and downtempo grooves to the island oasis.

Friday’s festivities kick off at WET Deck with DJ Li.A, followed by an intimate alt-rock performance from singer-songwriter Qyo at WOOBAR.

On Saturday afternoon, the Sun Chasers session at WET Deck features an all-female line-up from 2pm to 8pm, with resident DJ Erin Khan delivering a percussive house set alongside Taz Angullia, Watch Her Bern, and EJ Missy. The night continues at WOOBAR with homegrown favourites MinTea, RPDM, and Aslan showcasing melodic and Afro-house grooves before Pippi Ciez takes over as headliner.

Sunday marks the finale of the weekend’s festivities with the Sound Wave Music Curator pool party at WET Deck. W Music Curators Damian Saint (Bali) and Victor G (Kuala Lumpur) join W Singapore’s Music Curator, Sivanesh, for a special back-to-back deep house showcase to close out the weekend.

Coinciding with the celebration, the resort is unveiling its newly redesigned rooms as part of a broader transformation. Each of the 240 updated rooms and suites takes inspiration from Sentosa’s tropical environment, featuring natural textures, marina-inspired hues, and ample natural light.

The refreshed design reflects a balance between Singapore’s urban energy and its island setting, envisioned as a tropical retreat shaped by soft, organic forms and colors drawn from nature.

Sustainability and modern travel preferences are also central to the redesign, with additions such as in-room water filtration systems, solar-powered energy, and responsibly sourced materials.

Each room includes a private balcony with island or marina views and features Super King or Double Queen beds with pillow-top mattresses and a customisable pillow menu, designed to enhance guest comfort and relaxation.
