AlphaTheta halts rollout of CDJ-3000 firmware update following reports of "deleted" playlists
Several artists have complained of "disastrous" issues as a result of the recent CDJ-3000 firmware update, which was originally landed on October 21
AlphaTheta has temporarily pulled Pioneer DJ's CDJ-3000 firmware update, following reports of the software "deleting" playlists and tracks from users' USBS.
Several artists, including VTSS, SOSA, and Jaguar, complained of issues on social media this weekend with the Ver.3.30 update—which had originally rolled out on October 21.

In a statement shared with Mixmag, AlphaTheta said it was "aware" of the issues currently being experienced by some CDJ-3000 users and "sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused."
"Our teams are actively investigating the situation and remain focused on identifying and delivering a solution as quickly as possible," AlphaTheta's statement continues.
In an update published on November 4, the manufacturer said that "as a precaution," it has suspended the rollout of the firmware update as it continues to investigate the cause of the issues.

"If you have already updated to Ver.3.30, we suggest you temporarily downgrade to Ver.3.20 to ensure stable operation," AlphaTheta's advice continues, referring users to its guide on how to check the current firmware version on their CDJ-3000s.
