AlphaTheta announces new 7-part Equal Beats podcast series hosted by Kikelomo

AlphaTheta has announced a new Equal Beats podcast, which will focus on stories and insights from leading female/non binary artists from the electronic music world.

Hosted by DJ and Oroko Radio co-founder Kikelomo, Equal Beats The Podcast will span seven episodes, with guests including DJs, managers, agents and PR proffessionals to share their wisdom in building a career in the music industry.

Among artists featured on the podcast include Sama' Abdulhadi, Lady Shaka, Cristina Lazic and more, with each episode available to watch/listen via YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon Music.

AlphaTheta shared that the series has been produced in London by an "all-female crew."

The first episode, released on October 16, features Spanish DJ and producer Indira Pagnotto who discusses breaking into the music industry and the pathways available for aspiring female DJs.

Launched in February, AlphaTheta's Equal Beats initiative was created after the team recognised that just 13% of AlphaTheta account holders were female-identifying.

Since then, AlphaTheta has launched a number of events, networking lunches, artist collaborations and media campaigns under the Equal Beats banner.

The Equal Beats Podcast will be published fortnightly.
