New venue in Busan, Club Nasub, opens this weekend

A new club is set to open this weekend in Busan, South Korea, bringing a disco- and house-driven spirit that’s expected to enrich the city’s musical landscape.

Club Nasub—Busan spelled backwards—is the creation of Juheum Park, founding member and former owner of Nyapi, one of Seoul's most renowned clubs co-owned by ffan.

The venue marks Juheum’s second music project in Busan; his first, named Nasub, is an ocean-view listening bar and cocktail spot facing Gwangalli Beach that hosts local and international DJs every weekend.

Since opening, Nasub has become a gathering point for music enthusiasts scattered across the city.

The new club, now in its final stages of construction, is a three-story building near Seomyeon area—a district known for its urban feeling and lively nighttime atmosphere at the heart of Busan.

Shaping the club’s musical impact is Kyo, a Busan-based producer and DJ who recently appeared on Slowmouth’s Morsecode Records anniversary album and line-up. His distinct groove-oriented, minimal sound has played an influential role in shaping the city´s music identity.

During the soft opening on December 19 and 20, Grid, Heisseok, and Radio Revolution will inaugurate Nasub’s dancefloor, joined by sets from Kyo and Juheum themselves.
