Myanmar house/techno outfit hypnotize. has released its debut compilation album ‘hypnotize. album vol-1’, with over 13 electronic and A/V artists from the country.
The project weaves through groovy house, to darker numbers, break-centric tracks and more melodic, euphoric entries, showing the diversity and scope of the country that is often overlooked in electronic music.

Among the entries are tracks from artists such as F3LIX and OWAN, JAGM33T, and AGGI.
In November of last year, the crew dropped its 50th radio episode—a hypnotic deep set by emjoy, recorded live on a moving truck weaving through Yangon at sunrise.

Despite political turmoil halting live events, the collective has kept the underground alive through weekly radio shows and a new documentary marking their three-year journey.
hypnotize., founded in Yangon, has been instrumental in growing Myanmar’s electronic scene, establishing itself as a community-driven platform for the country's scene.
