Matoma links up with H. Kenneth for emotive, dance-floor focused single ‘Deeper’
The melodious composition plays on the mystics of Norwegian folk tales & stories
Warming things up for the summer, Matoma collaborates with LA-based Billboard #1 certified songwriter and producer H. Kenneth for ‘Deeper’. The track sees the Norwegian artist continue to experiment with a more dancefloor-focused sound — one that first inspired him to sink his teeth into producing back in 2015.
“I connected with amazing writer and vocalist H. Kenneth and we came up with this idea that captures that feeling of falling deeper into something or someone and just surrendering to it,” Matoma mentions.
The track was conceived while Matoma was secluded in his Norwegian cabin amidst a thick forest, fog and mist, all which was “truly inspirational” for the artist. The result is a melodious composition adorned with emotive vocals that play on the mystics of Norwegian folk tales and stories.
