GREETINGS’ ‘Look Within’ EP comprises 4 club-ready serenades
The release evokes a discovery of expressional freedom wrapped in saucy hooks
Boots & Legs has always been an imprint that champions sounds made for dancing through the timeless musical delights of ‘80s Italo disco and synth-pop...and there’s no better example than the latest release by its label manager and co-founder, GREETINGS.
Made available to the public on March 24, ‘Look Within’ EP is GREETINGS’s fifth release under Boots & Legs and is available in both physical vinyl and digital album form.
This marks the Naarm-based producer’s first release for 2023, made up of four club-ready serenades decorated by his own vocals. In addition to an abundance of saucy hooks, the tracks are a sonic manifestation of how GREETINGS found expressional, creative and sexual awakening via the dancefloor.

"The lead track ‘Come and Go (Dirty Talk Mix)’ has soothing but commanding vocals inspired by the ecstasy of meeting someone on the dancefloor, feeling new emotions and understanding a feeling that was always there. Recalling forbidden fantasies of my bisexualities that turned into reality on the dancefloor that night, I had to write and express it within my music. I hope the song will turn other dancers’ fantasies into realities in the smoke and haze of a night out,” says GREETINGS.

He encapsulates the feeling into a composition with a bouncy bassline adorned with a semi-Latin groove for dancers to indulge in.
GREETINGS previously made his way to Asia in 2019, playing live at South Korea's Pistil nightclub. He's also shared a set on Fauve Radio run by Romain FX. Sharing the same love for Italo disco, it only made sense that Romain FX was then invited to headline GREETINGS' club night, 'Boot Gala' in Melbourne in January 2023.
