Magnetic Soul celebrates 19 years with drum'n'bass powerhouse Satl

Magnetic SoulMagnetic Soul has been a driving force in Hong Kong’s drum’n’bass scene since 2005. Over the years, they’ve played a pivotal role in shaping the local underground music landscape.

Since their inception 19 years ago, they've created a platform that bridges the gap between local talent and international heavyweights, hosting iconic names like Goldie, Roni Size, LTJ Bukem, and many more, creating a vital platform for global drum’n’bass acts to perform in Asia.

The crew also consistently collaborates with local artists and collectives, further embedding themselves in Hong Kong's music culture.

It’s no surprise that their ability to consistently curate top-notch line-ups and bring fresh sounds to Hong Kong has earned them a devoted following.

To celebrate their 19th anniversary, Magnetic Soul is inviting back Polish producer Satl to take over the decks at Oma Hong Kong—he was previously invited by the crew back in 2017 when his career was just beginning to take off.

Satl has been making a name for himself with his signature deep, soulful sound that blends perfectly with Magnetic Soul’s ethos. With releases on top labels like The North Quarter, Integral Records, and Shogun Audio, he's also collaborated with some of the finest talents in the scene, including FD, DRS, and Tokyo Prose.

His ability to create lush, atmospheric tracks while keeping the dancefloor energy high makes Satl an ideal fit for Magnetic Soul’s milestone event.

Filling in as host for the night will be Dan Stezo, along with a whole line-up of regional favourites adding even more heat and excitement to the event on September 21.

The event is set to run from 11pm-7am; for more information head to Magnetic Soul’s Instagram page here.
