Logic Lost & Individual Distortion rework track from thrash metal legends Slayer
‘God Hates Us All Especially You’ comes with a video featuring the two producers who prefer more aggressive soundscapes
Logic Lost has teamed up with fellow Jakarta-based experimental electronic producer Individual Distortion for ‘God Hates Us All Especially You’. Released May 12, the almost three-and-a-half-minute track is an interpretation of ‘Disciple’ by American thrash metal band, Slayer — regarded as one of their all-time favorite metal songs.
Just like the original track, Logic Lost and Individual Distortion’s rendition emulates the same intensity of aggression through its pounding electronic drums, frenetic pace and noisy atmospheres.

Though the collaborative track is seen as more of a project that was “for fun”, it thoroughly showcases both artists’ preferred sonic styles. Logic Lost’s inclination towards textural soundscapes with aggressive, simplistic beats matches perfectly with Individual Distortion’s crass, noise-influenced sound.

Both Dylan Amirio aka Logic Lost and Adythia Utama aka Individual Distortion have released via Bandung's Orange Cliff Records. The two are currently working on their own new projects while finding more opportunities to collaborate with one another, whether on remixes or original tracks.
Accompanying the release of ‘God Hates Us All Especially You’ is a music video depicting both artists in a state of mundanity which they mention as "a constant theme of their unexciting daily lives". Watch it below.
